How to Join SkarCraft SMP on Xbox One:

  1. Prepare Your Xbox One:
    • Ensure your Xbox One is turned on and connected to the internet.
  2. Change DNS Settings:
    • Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    • Navigate to Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    • Select Advanced settings.
    • Choose DNS settings, then select Manual.
  3. Enter BedrockConnect DNS:
    • Primary DNS: Enter one of the BedrockConnect IP addresses:
    • Secondary DNS: Enter a reliable DNS:
      • 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS).
  4. Launch Minecraft:
    • Open Minecraft on your Xbox One.
  5. Access BedrockConnect Server List:
    • Go to the Servers tab.
    • You should see a server named BedrockConnect or similar due to the DNS change.
    • Select it to open the server list.
  6. Join SkarCraft SMP:
    • Add a new server or select the option to enter an IP address.
    • Enter smp.skarcraft.org as the server address.
    • Save and select the server to join.
  7. Start Playing:
    • You should now be connected to SkarCraft SMP. Enjoy your game!

Note: If you experience any issues or want to revert the changes, repeat steps 2 and 3, and set DNS settings back to Automatic.

How to Join SkarCraft SMP on Nintendo Switch:

  1. Prepare Your Switch:
    • Turn on your Nintendo Switch and ensure it's connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Access System Settings:
    • From the Home screen, select the System Settings icon (gear symbol).
  3. Navigate to Internet Settings:
    • Scroll down and select Internet.
    • Choose Internet Settings. Your console will search for networks.
  4. Select Your Network:
    • Under Registered Networks, select your current Wi-Fi network.
    • Choose Change Settings.
  5. Change DNS Settings:
    • Scroll down to DNS Settings and select it.
    • Change from Automatic to Manual.
  6. Enter BedrockConnect DNS:
    • Primary DNS: Input one of the BedrockConnect IP addresses:
    • Secondary DNS: Enter a reliable DNS:
      • 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS).
  7. Save and Connect:
    • Press OK to save settings.
    • Connect to your Wi-Fi network with the new DNS settings.
  8. Launch Minecraft:
    • Open Minecraft on your Nintendo Switch.
  9. Access BedrockConnect Server List:
    • Navigate to the Servers tab.
    • You should see a server named BedrockConnect or similar.
    • Select it to access the server list.
  10. Join SkarCraft SMP:
    • Add a new server or enter the server address when prompted.
    • Input smp.skarcraft.org as the server address.
    • Save and select the server to join.
  11. Enjoy the Game:
    • You are now connected to SkarCraft SMP. Have fun!

Note: To revert changes, repeat steps 2-6 and set DNS Settings back to Automatic.

How to Join SkarCraft SMP on PlayStation (PS4/PS5):

  1. Prepare Your PlayStation:
    • Turn on your PlayStation console and ensure it's connected to the internet.
  2. Access Network Settings:
    • Go to Settings from the main menu.
    • Select Network.
    • Choose Set Up Internet Connection.
  3. Choose Connection Method:
    • Select either Use Wi-Fi or Use a LAN Cable, depending on your setup.
  4. Custom Network Setup:
    • Choose Custom setup.
  5. IP Address Settings:
    • Select Automatic for IP Address Settings.
  6. DHCP Host Name:
    • Choose Do Not Specify.
  7. DNS Settings:
    • Select Manual.
  8. Enter BedrockConnect DNS:
    • Primary DNS: Input one of the BedrockConnect IP addresses:
    • Secondary DNS: Enter a reliable DNS:
      • 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS).
  9. MTU and Proxy Settings:
    • For MTU Settings, select Automatic.
    • For Proxy Server, choose Do Not Use.
  10. Test Internet Connection:
    • Proceed to test your internet connection to ensure settings are correct.
  11. Launch Minecraft:
    • Open Minecraft on your PlayStation.
  12. Access BedrockConnect Server List:
    • Go to the Play tab, then select Servers.
    • You should see a server named BedrockConnect or similar.
    • Select it to access the server list.
  13. Join SkarCraft SMP:
    • Add a new server or enter the server address when prompted.
    • Input smp.skarcraft.org as the server address.
    • Save and join the server.
  14. Start Your Adventure:
    • You're now connected to SkarCraft SMP. Enjoy!

Note: To revert back to original settings, repeat steps 2-7 and set DNS Settings to Automatic.

Other Ways to Join SkarCraft SMP:

Using a PC (Windows/Linux/Mac):

  • Phantom Proxy:
    • Download Phantom from the official GitHub repository.
    • Run the Phantom application on your PC (no installation required).
    • Ensure your PC and gaming device are on the same network.
    • Open Minecraft on your gaming device.
    • The server should appear under the Friends tab as a LAN game.
    • Select it to join SkarCraft SMP.

Using an Android Device:

  • BedrockTogether App:
    • Download BedrockTogether from the Google Play Store.
    • Open the app and enter smp.skarcraft.org as the server address.
    • Tap Run.
    • Open Minecraft on your device.
    • The server will appear under the Friends tab. Join and play!
  • MC Server Connector:
    • Download MC Server Connector from the Google Play Store.
    • Follow the app instructions to connect to SkarCraft SMP.

Using an iOS Device (iOS 14+):

  • BedrockTogether App:
    • Download BedrockTogether from the App Store.
    • Open the app and input smp.skarcraft.org as the server address.
    • Tap Run and watch the short ad (required by the app).
    • Open Minecraft on your device.
    • The server will show up under the Friends tab. Tap to join.

Note for Nintendo Switch Users:

  • Alternative methods may not work due to Nintendo Switch network restrictions. It's recommended to use the DNS method outlined in the Nintendo Switch instructions.
